ABOUT THE BOOK Infertility prevents couples who have unprotected sex on a regular basis from achieving pregnancy. Infertility can be both primary and secondary; primary infertility is when the couple cannot get pregnant and never have done so before, and secondary is when a couple is having difficulty conceiving after at least one previously successful pregnancy. Fertility issues can occur in both men and women, with each sex having their own unique and treatable conditions that can prevent pregnancy. The majority of couples can resolve such issues by addressing modifiable risk factors, taking fertility medications, surgery, or assisted reproduction therapies. As age is a factor that increases many medical causes of infertility, it is important that women who want to get pregnant consider all of the options that are available to them in order to increase their chances. Women who find themselves to be infertile usually suffer from ovulation disorders, but some cases can be due to other conditions that affect the reproductive system, as well as lifestyle factors and age. Those who suffer from ovulation disorders will find that their monthly menstrual cycle does not always result in an egg being released, which prevents them from becoming pregnant. Such conditions can arise as a part of the natural ageing process, from primary conditions such as polycistic ovarian syndrome, or as a secondary factor due to conditions such as AIDS or poor thyroid function. EXCERPT FROM THE BOOK Clomidane Citrate The most common infertility medication used in women who find that they are suffering from ovulation disorders is Clomidane citrate. The commercial name most commonly used for this infertility drug is Clomid, a drug that you will often find being discussed on pregnancy and infertility forums. As a drug that is taken orally, Clomid is designed to regulate ovulation, but can occasionally lead to more than one egg being released, resulting in multiple pregnancies. The majority of women will find that their doctor starts them on a relatively low dose of Clomid, before having their Mg increased if they have been unsuccessful for a few cycles. Clomid is highly successful, around 80-85% of women who experience infertility due to ovulation disorders find that they get pregnant after using it. For those who are prescribed it there is a need to be aware of some of the common side effects associated; many women experience hot flushes, nausea and headaches. Some find that they experience pain when ovulating and there is a slight increase in risk for miscarriages and multiple births... Buy a copy to keep reading!

Not everyone has the goal of becoming a parent, but for those who do, being unable to conceive a child is an exquisitely painful reality. Many of us spend a portion of our lives attempting to avoid unplanned pregnancies, and assume that once we are ready to conceive, it will happen with little difficulty. We tend to think that shifting gears from preventing pregnancy to planning conception and childbirth will proceed in a relatively smooth and orderly fashion. A failure to conceive, then, is a major life stressor, which can wreak havoc on otherwise well-adjusted couples.Even in today's society, we tend to assume that individuals in committed relationships have the goal of procreation. Woman are often identified with their ability to give birth. Both men and women are supposed to pass on their genetic and generational legacies. Failure by either party to "fulfill their end of the bargain" can be devastating, humiliating, and emotionally destructive. The continuing taboo against discussing the subject of infertility compounds these reactions. Even though tremendous strides have been made in treating this relatively common condition, infertility is typically not openly discussed. The current article is designed to break through some of those taboos and provide you with information, treatment options, and resources to guide you through this painful time. Infertility medicine is a rapidly advancing science, so be sure to check this topic center periodically for new research and treatment updates.Infertility is typically defined as the inability to become pregnant after one year of sexual intercourse without contraception. For women over age 35, this condition is diagnosed after 6 months of an inability to conceive. Using this threshold, there will be women, albeit a minority, who meet the criteria for "infertility" but who go on to conceive without medical intervention. However, this definition is used to ensure that people who are experiencing problems that can be remedied will seek timely medical intervention.Having trouble conceiving is more common that you might think. Despite what we were taught in our sex education classes in school (if any such class was offered), in any given month a typical couple has a 20% chance of conceiving. In a lifetime, 10-15% of couples will experience infertility. This number jumps to 33% in couples with a woman is over 35 years of age. In about 45% of cases there is a male-origin for the infertility, female-origin infertility accounts for 30% of cases, and 20% of the time both partners are the source of difficulties. If you are a woman of reproductive age, younger than 35, and have been trying for more than a year - it may be time to see an infertility specialist. If however, you are over 35, and have been trying for more than six months, it may be time to go ahead and book an appointment.Women who are 35 or older and having a hard time getting pregnant need to seek help sooner, because fertility is age discriminant. As Your Fertility says, "At 30, the chance of conceiving each month is about 20%. At 40 it is around 5%." This continues to decline as you continue to age.The older you get, the higher the likelihood for complications for both mom and baby as well. Moms 35 and older face higher risks of birth complications and the need for caesarean section. Babies face higher chances of birth defects, and genetic abnormalities. This book is highly resourceful in using CBD Oil to solve infertility issues.

Worldwide an estimated one in five couples will experience difficulty conceiving or carrying a baby to full term. The reasons for this range from conditions such as Endometriosis or Polycystic ovarian syndrome to the more insidious "unexplained infertility." While this book does examine the basic theory and practice of Allopathic medicine as it relates to gynaecology much of the focus is placed on Naturopathic or Traditional Chinese methods of preventing and treating many of these common gynaecological conditions. The whole focus of this approach is that it allows you to play an active part (and take positive control) of your own treatment. In the book some of the areas covered are: A look at the most common tests and an explanation of what the results indicate. A brief look at the theories underlying Traditional Chinese and Naturopathic medicine and how they can be applied pre and post conception. How common foods can be used to prevent or treat many common gynaecological problems. How you can improve your odds of success with IVF by adjusting your diet. Recipes with step by step instructions are included. About the author Eddie Dowd is a full time professional practitioner specialising in women's health. In clinic he uses an integrated approach combining Dietary therapy, Herbal medicine and Acupuncture alongside and tailored to fit in with whatever treatments a patient may be receiving.
