Heidi Fraumeister inherited her father’s business empire and became a millionairess overnight. While on a sailing holiday around the Canary Isles she is spotted by Jack Towney who assumes the alias of James De Villiers in order to impress her. They become entangled in a passionate relationship and are quickly married. Heidi insists on a pre-nuptial agreement to safeguard her fortune, which Jack gladly signs, but in the months that follow the gloss of the relationship suddenly tarnishes and Jack needs to find a way out without losing the lavish life-style being married to Heidi affords. Divorce would leave Jack back where he started, poor and lonely. He hatches a plan to have Heidi killed by a professional hit man and engages old friends Michael and Patrick Flannigan to provide the assassin. However with a huge sum of money on offer, greed takes over, and in the end the Flannigan brothers decide to carry out the kill themselves. "The Hit" follows the two bungling hit men as they try to kill off the millionairess to save their friend losing claim to her fortune. Despite numerous failed attempts they eventually manage to commit the murder they were being paid for, but not with the outcome they had anticipated.

The explosive new thriller for fans of Jason Bourne, Robert Muchamore and Michael Grant, previously published under the title Boy Nobody. Boy Nobody is the perennial new kid in school, the one few notice and nobody thinks much about. He shows up in a new high school, in a new town, under a new name, makes few friends and doesn't stay long. Just long enough for someone in his new friend's family to die -- of "natural causes." Mission accomplished, Boy Nobody disappears, and moves on to the next target. When Boy Nobody was just eleven, he discovered his own parents had died of not-so-natural causes. He soon found himself under the control of The Program, a shadowy government organization that uses brainwashed kids as counter-espionage operatives. But somewhere, deep inside Boy Nobody, is somebody: the boy he once was, the boy who wants normal things (like a real home, his parents back), a boy who wants out. And he just might want those things badly enough to sabotage The Program's next mission.

REVENGE CAN GET STICKY... Sicily never considered herself a gullible schlump. Of course she knew Bear was a bit of a bad boy. So how it all went down... Let's just say, if somebody made a gangster movie about her love life, this would be the part where people start dying. She should have seen it coming. When she catches her boyfriend, Bear, with his sticky fingers on another girl’s pastries, she decides it’s high time to bury this rat. Before she can focus on that, though, an unfortunate splash of pine cleaner leads to a rather wicked rash. That rash leads to a sexy Italian doctor. That doctor leads to a bold, and rather inspiring, kiss. Sicily decides to embrace her roots...the made up ones, anyway. After all, her uncle did his best to raise her on all kinds of outrageous lies about his secret life in the mafia. So, I ask you. Who better to serve up an epic revenge scheme than the niece of a (not really) mobster? Add to that a duel with Samuel Adams and her brazen debut at a strip club... and Sicily finds herself with a brand new career: as a relationship hit woman. Life can be funny like that. In a world where lies become truth and the truth can become a lie, sometimes... to start a new life... you gotta end with a dead body. The Hit List is the start of an unconventional, highly outrageous FBI team. If you enjoy off-the-wall heroines, madcap adventures, and a splash of sassy romance, you'll enjoy teaming up with The Hotties on their anything but by-the-book cases. Buy The Hit List and unleash the outrageous today.

Frank Vogel has developed a unique line of hair-care products and needs money to grow. When he runs an ad in The New York Times asking for investors, Thomas Harwood replies and agrees to invest three million dollars to get the products into the market. Harwood claims that his money is coming from a settlement with the federal government that involves a bank in Colorado and the government bailout of the Savings and Loan industry in the 1980s. He tells Vogel that he's signed a confidentiality agreement and can't say any more about it. Nine months later, he's still saying the same thing, while Vogel teeters on the verge of bankruptcy. After contacting other companies in which Harwood has promised to invest, Vogel learns an interesting fact: they're all desperate for capital and Harwood's been giving them all the same runaround. Finally, Harwood informs Vogel that there's been a breakthrough. The government has agreed to pay him and everyone will get their money. But before the payout date comes, Harwood is found dead on the side of the road. Is it a hit-and-run accident, or is it cold-blooded murder?
