Rev. Caesar's Satanic Bible contains a very important and much needed new system known as The Anti-Christian or Satanic Moral-Value System. This will replace the Judeo-Christian moral-value system and restore us to the former glory of ancient civilizations before the Judeo-Christians contaminated the sacredness of the ancient religions and introduced their values upon many peoples by force through the sword and cross of damnation, rather than salvation. They reinvented religion using many older beliefs and watered them down into horrid and twisted versions of the former. Many inversions were made where once things were sacred, they became blasphemous and unholy. The Holy Whore was spat upon and denigrated and we have freed her and resurrected her at last! The Satanic Bible by Rev. Caesar 999 contains basic outlines of his beliefs and philosophies which are more deeply explored in his other works. He also has delved deep into the occult world of mysticism and magick bringing many new ideas, rituals, and theories in his many different books starting back in his younger years. He has placed a copy of his Satanic Sorcery Volume I in this new bible version. It contains some basics for beginners and some interesting philosophies. Let it be known that one book alone will never give you a complete understanding of the inner workings of Caesar's religious, philosophical, and magickal system. He is a very spiritual person and views himself as a deep mystic bringing forth hidden spiritual knowledge for his disciples and supporters.

The late Anton Szandor LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan, may be the most notoriously familiar for his Satanic Bible, but The Satanic Witch best reflects the discoveries Anton made in his younger days working the carny shows and Mitt Camps. This is undiluted Gypsy lore regarding the forbidden knowledge of seduction and manipulation. The Satanic Witch is not designed for Barbie Dolls, but women cunning and crafty enough to employ the workable formulas within, which instantly surpass the entire catalogue of self-help tomes and New Age idiocies. The Introduction — Peggy Nadramia, High Priestess of the Church of Satan, tells us how this book changed her life. The Afterword — Blanche Barton, Anton LaVey’s biographer, Chairmistress of the Council of Nine, and mother of Satan Xerxes Carnacki LaVey, Anton’s third child, informs us how The Satanic Witch came to pass and influence the behavior of so many women.

Called "The Black Pope" by many of his followers, Anton La Vey began the road to High Priesthood of the Church of Satan when he was only 16 years old and an organ player in a carnival: "On Saturday night I would see men lusting after halfnaked girls dancing at the carnival, and on Sunday morning when I was playing the organ for tent-show evangelists at the other end of the carnival lot, I would see these same men sitting in the pews with their wives and children, asking God to forgive them and purge them of carnal desires. And the next Saturday night they'd be back at The carnival or some other place of indulgence. "I knew then that the Christian Church thrives on hypocrisy, and that man's carnal nature will out!" From that time early in his life his path was clear. Finally, on the last night of April, 1966-Walpurgisnacht, the most important festival of the believers in witchcraft-LaVey shaved his head in the tradition of Ancient executioners and announced the formation of The Church Of Satan. He had seen the need for a church that would recapture man's body and his carnal desires as objects of celebration. "Since worship of fleshly things produces pleasure," he said, "there would then be a temple of glorious indulgence . . ."

When Anton Szandor LaVey published his original Satanic Bible fifty yers ago, it was an angry book - and it had plenty to be angry about: It confronted a humanity which for more than two thousand years had been taught to hate itself, fear God, and hide from a threatening, very un-Edenic universe around it. Even worse, humans were told they were not only originally-sinful and imperfect, but imperfectible - except, perhaps, through the intercession of an Islamic Mohammed or Christian Jesus, demanding absolute abasement and obedience. With men and women reduced to naked, shamed animals, therefore, Anton saw and argued in his Bible that the only solution was to be the strongest, craftiest, and most hedonistic animal "in the valley." It was a prescription of power and vengeance to delight an Ayn Rand or Orwellian O'Brien. But then, in the 10-year exoteric crucible of the Church of Satan, followed by the 40-year esoteric one of the Temple of Set, we discovered that humans not only had nothing to be inherently ashamed or guilty about, but that indeed we are self-perfectible; and that Black Magic enables us not just to decipher and harmonize with the Objective Universe without, but to discover the Subjective Universe of divine immortality within. So this is not an angry Satanic Bible. It is one of excitement, exuberance, the delight of virtue and nobility for their own sake. The cosmology it reveals and the Black Magic it teaches are not weapons to hurt but tools of divine enlightenment and transformation. Your eternity begins now.

Satanism is a new religious movement founded in 1966 by the American occultist and author Anton Szandor LaVey. The religion's doctrines and practices are codified in LaVey's book, The Satanic Bible. Its core philosophy is based on individualism and egoism, encouraging an epicurean pursuit of fleshly indulgence, an eye for an eye ethical code, and the concept of "self-deification". The philosophy positions itself in favor of Social Darwinism and opposes egalitarianism, seeing it as a conservator of mediocrity and decadence, and to a larger extent, the Abrahamic faiths, which are seen as lies which promote idealism, self-denigration, herd behavior, and irrationality. The philosophy seeks more draconian measures taken in the realm of law and order, and may also support some forms of eugenics. The religion propagates a naturalistic worldview, seeing mankind as animals existing in an amoral universe.

In the public imagination Satanism is associated with bizarre rituals, perverse hedonistic lifestyles, heavy metal music, immature adolescents acting out, horror movies, and rumors of ritual abuse. But what are the facts behind the urban legends and the "moral panics" that periodically sweep the country regarding this countercultural phenomenon? This authoritative reference work gathers together scholarly studies of Satanism and original source material, focusing on two major aspects—organized religious Satanism and the Satanic Ritual Abuse hoax that was prevalent in the 1980s and early 1990s. The contributors first examine modern Satanism, a decentralized movement whose only coherence is based on certain themes that date back to the writings of Anton Szandor LaVey, especially his Satanic Bible. Among other factors, the authors discuss how the emergence of the Internet as a form of communication has created some coherence among disparate groups through cross-reference. Many articles are devoted to the Satanic Ritual Abuse scare, an erroneous belief in a vast underground network of Satanists who were abusing children. For years members of the law enforcement community and numerous therapists, encouraged by the hype of mass media, bought into this panic. Other topics include the role of the media in the perceptions of Satanism and Satanic Ritual Abuse, juvenile delinquency and Satanism, and police pursuit of satanic crime. The volume concludes with primary source material, including a report from the Ritual Abuse Task Force and selections from current Satanism groups. This objective reference work will be useful for professionals in many fields and members of the public interested in sorting out the facts from the myths surrounding this controversial subculture.

Satanism is a complex and controversial phenomenon co-existing in many social and rhetorical contexts. Some consider it the root of all evil in the world. Others see it as a juvenile proxy for rebellion or as a misapplication of serious esoteric beliefs and practices. Then again, some considerit a specific religious or philosophical position serving as a personal and collective identity. This book, written by three experts in the field of Satanism studies, examines Satanism as a contemporary movement in continuous dialogue with popular culture, aiding as a breeding ground for other newreligious movements. Shifting the focus from mythology to meaning-making, this is a book about the invention of Satanism among self-declared religious Satanists. Like all ideologists and believers, Satanists incorporate, borrow, and modify elements from other traditions, and this book explores how traditional folkloreand prior strands of occultism were synthesized by Anton LaVey in his founding of the Church of Satan and the creation of the Satanic Bible. Later chapters examine contemporary Satanist subcultures from various perspectives, also demonstrating how Satanism, despite its brief history as an organizedphenomenon, continues to reinvent itself. There are now numerous Satanisms with distinctive interpretations of what being a Satanist entails, with some of these new versions deviating more from the historical "mainstream" than others. In this fascinating account of a seemingly abstruse andoften-feared movement, Dyrendal, Lewis, and Petersen demonstrate that the invention of Satanism is an ongoing, ever-evolving process.

Contemporary Religious Satanism

The Church of Satan was founded by Anton LaVey on April 30, 1966. In his hands, Satan became a provocative symbol for indulgence, vital existence, natural wisdom and the human being's true animal nature. At present, religious Satanism exists primarily as a decentralized subculture with a strong internet presence within a larger Satanic milieu in Western culture. Though most are inspired by LaVey, the majority of contemporary Satanists are not members of the Church of Satan. The various expressions of modern Satanism all navigate in today's detraditionalized religious market through the creative appropriation of popular culture, philosophy, literature and religion. The concrete solutions are varied; but they all understand the power of transgression allying oneself with a most powerful symbol of resistance, namely Satan. Thus, contemporary religious Satanism could be understood as a complex negotiation of atheism, secularism, esotericism and self: A "self-religion" in the modern age. Despite the fascinating nature of religious Satanism, it has attracted little scholarship until relatively recently. This book brings together a group of international scholars to produce the first serious book-length study of religious Satanism, presenting a collection that will have wide appeal to specialists and non-specialists alike. The first part contains broader studies of influential groups and important aspects of the Satanic milieu, especially regarding historical developments, the construction of tradition and issues of legitimacy. The second part narrows the view to regional variations, especially with studies on Northern and Eastern Europe. The third part consists of primary documents selected for their representational and informational value.
